Installation Steps

  1. Download the playset JSON file above
  2. Launch Stellaris and wait for the Paradox Launcher to open
  3. In the launcher, click the Playset dropdown (middle of the launcher)
  4. Select Import Playset from the menu
  5. Drag the QOL 5.13.json file into the import window, or click to browse for it
  6. Wait for the import to complete - the launcher will create a new playset
  7. Select the imported QOL 5.13 playset from the dropdown
  8. Click Download or subscribe to any missing mods (the launcher may do this automatically)
  9. Once all mods are downloaded, click Play to launch the game

Note: The JSON file contains the mod list and load order. You must subscribe to the mods via Steam Workshop for them to download. The launcher should handle this automatically when you import the playset.

Installation Steps

  1. Click both download buttons above: BrickedUp1.0.zip and Party Limit Patch v1.5.zip
  2. Download BG3ModManager from GitHub Releases
  3. Extract the downloaded Party Limit Patch v1.5.zip to a folder
  4. Extract BG3ModManager to a permanent location (e.g., Documents or Desktop - avoid Program Files)
  5. Open the BG3ModManager folder and run BG3ModManager.exe
  6. In the mod manager: Tools → Download & Install Script Extender → Click Yes
  7. Go to File → Reload All
  8. Import the modpack: File → Import Order and Mods from archive → Select BrickedUp1.0.zip (don't extract it, use the zip directly)
  9. Find your game's bin folder:
    • Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin
    • Or: Steam → Game Properties → Installed Files → Browse → bin
  10. From the extracted Party Limit Patch folder, drag both bg3.exe and bg3_dx11.exe from your game's bin folder onto PartyLimitBegonePatcher.bat (creates backup automatically)
  11. Launch the game through BG3 Mod Manager
  12. Join the multiplayer game - BG3 will verify you have matching mods (you'll need the same mods installed)

Note: To restore the original game exe, delete the patched exe and rename bg3.exe.backup back to bg3.exe

Troubleshooting

If your mods are loading in the wrong order after installation, you can import just the mod order without re-importing the entire modpack.
